Leadership Position: Pastoral Counselor Member of the church for over 50 years; 6th generation Favorite Scripture: "The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want." - Psalms 23 Background: I was very sick 5 years ago and in the hospital for 3 weeks. I have been on chemotherapy since that time. I was sent a prayer cloth while I was in the hospital. As I opened the envelope, I heard these words loud and clear, “The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want”. I have loved the 23rd Psalms since then. |

I left said church years ago, and ventured into witchcraft/Wicca/Paganism for about 7 years. I am now a member of Community of Christ, more specifically a member of Portsmouth Welcoming Community. I have finally found my home church, where I am not only accepted but affirmed in my sexuality. I am so thankful to have found PWC. |
